Black Phoebe at Pio Pico Preserve

Pio Pico Preserve Thousand Trails in Jamul, CA

While on our walk Kevin and I spotted this Black Phoebe in the campground.

Black Phoebe

  • Black Phoebe is a small flycatcher. They often sit scanning the area for insects. (must be what he is doing on the branch)
  • Black Phoebe’s do well around humans. (we see them on our walks many times)

This one did some primping on the barbwire fence.

Happy Birding!
