  • San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge– It doesn’t have its own visitor center it uses Chula Vista Nature Center(fee involved&no stamp)
  • Sweet water Marsh National Wildlife Refuge – It doesn’t have its own visitor center it uses Chula Vista Nature Center(fee involved&no stamp)

The visitor center staff is friendly and informative at Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is in an urban area. It’s a little piece of nature in San Diego.

  1. as a fellow birder, and RV’er, I look forward to following your blog and your adventures. . .

What a great birding day you had. . .we are in the San Diego area at this moment as well. . .and will visit the Cabrillo National Monument and Torrey Pines State Preserve next week, but probably will not make it to this great Preserve on this trip. . .so thanks for sharing.
