Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming

While camping at Star Valley Ranch Resort in Thayne, Wyoming Kevin and I explored the Grand Tetons National Park. The Grand Tetons are an incredible site. We drove to several wildlife hotspots but didn’t find wildlife until we drove the River Road.

The river road is a 4-wheel drive required road. The road was clear of debris but bumpy in some spots, so hold on tight. Our jeep wrangler made it just fine. We were able to see the Snake River at the end of the trip. Kevin and I spotted several birds and a pronghorn antelope along the trail.

  1. Brace yourself — your next sighting of a Bald Eagle will be as thrilling as this one was 🙂 They’re so majestic (and HUGE!) that it’s hard not to get excited when spotting them. BTW — were you affected by smoke from any of the western wildfires there in the Tetons and nearby?
