Update in Southern California

We finished most of our appointments while staying at Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails in Menifee, CA. I had to increase my cholesterol medication but everything else is looking good. I’m swallowing huge fish pills for my cholesterol now. 🙂

The RV is tuned up and looking good. Its ready to go for our 2016 trip.

When we stayed at Pechanga RV Park in Temecula, CA. My sister Linda & her husband Clifford drove over to visit with us. My sister is very special to me. She is 10 years older than I am and has been there for me many times in my life.

I’m looking forward to seeing our daughter Katie & her friend Daniel for Christmas. Like many people that work in the medical field, Katie is working on Christmas so well see her on the 23rd. We have a nice Christmas campsite picked out.  Its chilling outside so maybe our campfire will be burning all afternoon. 🙂

My sister invited us to her annual Christmas Eve party. She has a traditional graham cracker house contest. We all win something. We all laugh, smile and hope for the best. (Pictures for this years contest coming soon)

I’m ready for Christmas in Southern California. The weather is a bit colder than usual. Kevin has brought out his cold weather jacket already. I’m holding out for more frost on the ground. Kevin and I are walking for exercise and experimenting with  new recipes in our crock pot. Some worked out good. Some not so good. More on that in another post.

We met a great couple through RVillage. Trish & John from the blog Tiger Tales. We hung out with them for a few hours and enjoyed there company.  We’re hoping to see more of them in the future.

Happy Holidays!

  1. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Always great to be with family and friends for the holidays! We drove through Pechanga RV Park when we stayed at TT Wilderness Lakes. It looked very nice. How is the noise level at night there?

We have really good luck taking Red Yeast Rice to keep cholesterol levels in check. Easily available at Costco or any health food store.
