Tumacacori National Historical Park

Tumacacori National Historical Park
Tumacacori preserves three early Spanish colonial missions on 47 acres in Southern Arizona. While I was looking at the church, a feeling of awe came over me. This church was filled in the past with people. They did everyday things inside these walls. So long ago….

The area was originally visited in 1691.They started building the church about 1800. It was never finished. In 1916 the National Park Service took it over from the U.S. Forest Service. I collected four National Park Stamps here.

Happy RVing!
