We decided to do the Cactus Forest Loop drive at Rincon Moutain District and a 2-mile trail called  Mica View. When we drove to the Mica View trail the signs said it was closed for construction. After, some disappointment we drove to the desert ecology trail. The trail is shorter then we wanted but we spotted several birds on our walk. The wildflower are growing near the trail too.

Next, we walked the Freeman Homestead Trail it was a 1 mile walk. The trail was easy to moderate. The trail had some stairways on it and interpretive signs along the away.

We saw several birds on our walk & drive and added a few new ones to our bird life list. This National Park has been a good surprise. A ranger named Jim helped us identify the Pyrrhuloxia bird at the visitor center. He was very helped & friendly.   🙂  I notice that both west & east Saguaro National Park visitor centers had a binder with color photo bird pictures in it for identification.

Happy RVing
