Loma Verde Trailhead

Saguaro National Park
Loma Verde Trailhead-Rincon Mountain Range

We got up at 5:45 in the morning to go on the Loma Verde Trailhead. We saw several joggers, bikers & hikers during our visit to the national park. The Loma Verde Trailhead is a 3.8 mile hike round trip.  The trail goes past the site of a failed copper mine and the Cactus Forest.

The wildflowers are starting to bloom at Saguaro National Park.

At the top of Pink Hill Trail we spotted a mule deer walking around the desert. The view from the top of pink hill trail was of the cactus forest. The cactus forest was beautiful in the early morning.

You can see how small the Bonker Hedgehog is compared to my foot. Their cute little cactus that pop up along the trail.

We had a good stay at Voyager RV Park in Tuscon, Arizona. I hope we come back here again sometime.

Happy RVing!
