Loma Verde Trail at Rincon Mountain District
3.4 mile trail easy near Tucson, Arizona
The beginning of the trail was filled with bird songs today. The birds would sit on top of a Saguaro and sing away.
Some of the wildflowers were bursting with colors while others didn’t open much. A Fishhook Barrel Cactus had some pretty yellow colors on top. If you remove the yellow part they look like a mini pineapple with small needles.
We found what looks like to be a young saguaro just getting ready to crest.
The Saguaro National Park has some beautiful views. The Cactus Forest Loop Drive is my favorite desert scenic drive in this area.
Happy Desert RVing!
