Spring in Tucson

Throw dirt on me, and grow a wildflower by Liz Wayne

The Saguaro National Park is starting to bloom so we decided to go on a hike at the park. The Sendero Esperanza Trail at the Tucson Mountain District is a moderate hike. We got up early in the morning but not early enough. The sun was starting to bake us about 9:00 ish.

Wildflowers are blooming on the trail. We bought a used field guide and attempted to name the flowers. Nature is so interesting to explore.

We  found a few new cactus on our walk to identify in the Saguaro National Park. The Arizona Pencil Cholla and a Pink-flowered Hedgehog Cactus that looks like it has horns. lol

Happy RVing!
