The last day of the Western Area Regional Escapee rally 2016
Kevin and I went to the pet parade. We sat in a circle while the owners introduced their dogs. Joey wore his rufferee costume to the parade. Also, the dogs entered several different contests and played with each other before the parade. Kevin and I were just happy that Joey (Our Rufferee Yorkie behaved himself).
In the late morning hours a husband and wife veterinarian team did a seminar on pet safety. Joey (our yorkie) needs more health care than we thought before entering the east coast area. I’m going to consult with our vet before we travel in the east coast. It sounded like ticks are a big problem in some areas.
During, the evening the WARE staff put on a nice sit down catered bbq dinner. Then, a western music band played while people danced. At that point I realized a made a mistake by not attending the line dancing lesson. Several fellow campers had a good time line dancing so next rally I’m going to sign up for the line dancing lessons….. Live & Learn
That ends our WARE rally adventure. Next, were going to stay in Northern California until Yosemite warms up.
