“I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery. Air, mountains, tree, people. I thought: this is what it is to be happy.” –unknown author
Camping at Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails in Menifee, California near our family for the holidays
We picked up our general delivery mail today at the Sun City, California post office. Inside our mail was our absentee voter ballots from Texas. Kevin gets excited about voting. I do too. To make a difference in who will be in charge of our country is exciting. I urge everyone to vote. Make a difference!
Kevin needed to fix our rv flag pole so we drove over to the local Lowes. He bought a new battery operated drill for $50.00. I bought two useful herbs to replace my wilted ones on the kitchen counter.
We now have one spearmint herb for teas & mojitos and one cilantro herb for omelets & southwestern dishes.
I made homemade liquid hand soap. It feels soft on our hands but it has to be shaken each time we use it. I like it even if I need to shake it everytime I use it.
Kevin and I did a 5k volksmarch in Sun City, California today. The volksmarch is hosted by the Low Desert Roadrunners. Its a residential volksmarch. The houses were all immaculately mowed. The streets were clean. The residents friendly. Its a 5k or 10k volksmarch in a retirement community. The volksmarch is called Sun City Residential. I’m happy to be volksmarching again.
