Camping in one spot-Saturday

Saturday

Walking

Kevin and I did a 4k around the campground for our morning walk. Our fellow campers were out walking their dogs, jogging and starting their day. I saw a hawk flying over the campground. He was a beauty.

Pool Time

The pool was refreshing today. Our fellow campers were friendly but not as talkative today at the pool. The jacuzzi was full so we passed on our spa time. There were several of us with pool noodles so one of the ladies joked that we should have pool noodle races. lol

Homemade Products

I gathered more ingredients for my homemade product recipes at Super Target. The gathering of the ingredients has been a big process because the ingredients are in several different stores. I’m going to experiment with several homemade products.

I found the lavender essential oil and sweet almond nourishing oil on sale at Super Target. My heels are cracked so I placed 1/2 a lemon on each heel then covered my heels with socks for one hour. My heels feel softer but they still need some work.

Life

Kevin and I walked our yorkie around the park. Then we watched tv and had our 80 calorie greek yogurt dessert with strawberries, blackberries and blueberries on top. I read, played friends with words and blogged before bed. Kevin read, played friends with words & played games on the computer before bed.

Happy RVing!

  1. Sounds wonderful. My latest DIY project is getting “parfum” out of out life. I have learned to make all kinds of homemade cleaning products for a tiny fraction of store bought so it is almost gone but I still haven’t found a way to make my own shampoo. Isn’t it wonderful to get just the right thing just the way you want it?
