Camping in one spot-Wednesday

“The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.”– H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

This picture is of Menifee Lakes on our volksmarch today.

Camping at Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails in Menifee, California for the holidays

It wasn’t raining today so we did a 5k volksmarch in Menifee Lakes. The host of the volksmarch is The Low Desert Roadrunners. The volksmarch starts in a Ralphs parking lot in Menifee, CA. We saw views of Menifee Lakes on the volksmarch and passed our daughter Katie’s college Mt San Jacinto Community College Menifee Campus. Katie is working towards her RN degree. After, the volksmarch we stopped at It’s a Grind for a coffee and split an everything bagel with a great deal of cream cheese on it. 🙂

Cleaning the RV

In the afternoon we cleaned out one of the outside compartments in the rv. We’re going to slowly clean out the outside RV compartments this week one at a time. Kevin and I relaxed in the pool on our noodles this time we had the pool to ourselves.

Visiting with Katie

Katie came over for dinner after school. Her car air filter needed replacing so Kevin helped her with it. Its ready to be placed in the car she just needs to put it in when it dries. I made low smart point fajitas and Kevin steamed some corn.We all went on a walk in the campground, some of the rvers have good Halloween decorations at their campsite. I enjoy looking at the decorations in the campground during the holiday season on our walks.

Late Evening

Kevin and I watched Aftermath on tv, read our books, played words with friends & trivia crack. Thats what a day in this retired rver’s life is like. We like our lifestyle and hope to continue with it for many years.

Happy RVing!
