Maintenance, Walking and Birding

Camping-Kevin and I are back at Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails. We had a tough time finding a good camping spot. Finally, a friendly camper offered us his spot. We waiting 2 hours for him to leave. It was his first camping trip. It was worth the wait. The spot has afternoon shade, its clean and friendly neighbors. Also, the view is a nice slice of the sky.

Maintenance– We brought the rv into Temecula Valley RV to put new brake pads on. Also, the sumo springs came loose so we had those fixed too. The work was done quickly but our appointment was early in the morning so we spent the night in there overnight spot. Its not a bad place for a free overnight stay.

Walking– I’ve been trying to walk 10,000 steps a day. Its a challenge but its working for me. Kevin walks with me so that help.

Birding-Β On our walks we saw a Red-tailed Hawk, California Towhee, House Finch, House Sparrow Β and White-crowed Sparrow.

Happy RVing!

  1. Keep up the good walking! What are you using to count your steps? I loved my Fitbit but had to upgrade to an Apple Watch. It doesn’t buzz me when I hit my 10,000!
Ah maintenance…..At least a free overnight stay!
