10 Reason to Support Farmer Markets

Small Farmers Markets- only a few vendors/some only two or three vendors
Good Size Farmers Market – At least a row of vendors

Some farmer markets are seasonal


Camp Verde – Good size market seasonal market/inside a building during the summer

Country Club Plaza Farmers Market in Sacramento, is a good size farmers market on Saturdays

Salome- Small Farmers Market only one or two vendors behind a store

Tuscon- Rincon Farmers & Artisan Market is a good size farmers market with veggies/artsy stuff on Saturday mornings

Yuma downtown farmers market on Tuesday 10-2ish. This is a good size market. Great Winter Produce! Dec-March

Quartzsite- We didn’t find the market the traffic was too heavy during the January big tent opening. Wed morning until 2


Folsomgood size market year round in Historic Folsom on Saturday mornings

Menifee – small market only a few vendors. Sunday morning

Murrieta – Sun mornings 9-1 its a good size market in a parking lot -filled with veggies, soaps, fruits and more

Oceanside– good size farmers market filled with books, food, crafts, veggies, plants etc

Palm Springs-good size market with fish, meat, veggies, fruit, homemade biscotti, coffee, music, food and more

Sonora– good size farmers market on Saturday  mornings

Santa Rosa- good size farmers market on Sat & Wed morning 8:30-1:00 fruits, veggies, meats, bakery, honey, garden art etc

Santee Lakes – good size farmers market

Temecula –  Old Town Farmers Market -good size farmers market on Sat its filled with veggies, soaps, herbs, peanut brittle, crafts, paintings, crepes, plants, food, bread, humus etc

Temecula- Vail Headquarters Farmers Market – Tues 9-1, good size market, flags, soaps, crafts, peanut brittle, fudge, massage tools, veggies, humus, plants, honey and more

Temecula- Promenade Mall Farmers Market – Wed 9-1, good size market, veggies, fruits, plants, food, crafts and more

New Mexico

Roswell– Saturday Farmers Market- seasonal market


Astoria– Sunday Farmers Market 10-3, this is a good size farmers market with fresh veggies & fruit, local arts & crafts & music. My Experience at this market.

Brookings – wed & sat in a tent with –one veggies stand and many artisan crafts & sat market on the harbor with –one veggie stand and many artisan crafts plus flea market stuff – This was in June 2016

Bend, Oregon – wed 3-6 good size farmers market with veggies, cookies, honey, bread, meat, food, crafts & etc

Florence Boardwalk Market – I saw one veggie stand on the boardwalk. The rest were local craft & artist vendors.Open Sat 9-5 Sun 10-5

Grants Pass – good size market Sat

Newport Farmers market – good size Saturday morning market. several veggie & fruit vendors, food vendors, only a few local artist vendors July 2016

South Dakota

Black Hills Farmers Marketin Rapid City, good size Saturday morning market. I saw several veggie & fruit vendors, honey, soaps, lamb, bbq food & more. Early Sept 2016


Moab Farmers Market– Thur Evenings 4:30-7:30

St GeorgeDowntown Farmers Market on Saturday mornings at 8 am. I saw several veggie & fruit vendors. Good Size Market


Bow, WA– at small market vendors with soap, woodworking, food, 3 veggies vendors & glass makers

Mt Vernon Farmers Market– Saturday and Wednesday – Saturday morning was filled with good vendors. Local artist and Veggies & Fruit vendors. Excellent Market!

Pike Place Farmers Market in Seattle- big farmers market filled with fish, veggies, fruits, local artist work. Excellent Market but get there very early to beat the crowds.


Jackson, Wyoming – Saturday morning downtown good size farmers market with veggies, meat, bread, crafts etc
